CHAPTER 1 - JESUS THE DELIVERER
Jesus is The Deliverer, not a woman or a doctor!
First contrast - The world focuses in on the doctor and says, "If you get a good one
he will deliver your baby, right". Jesus states in Matthew 19:17, "Why callest
thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God
". Jesus put the focus of
their attention to The Father, God. For He Is Good and His Mercy endures
forever. That's not taking anything away from the doctor but it is always
better to have your trust in God rather than the doctor. Doctor's make
mistakes, God does not. Our heart and mind should always be fixed on God's
ability (His Grace) and His Promises (His Word) rather than man's ability and
what he thinks. For God is greater than man. There is nothing wrong with
getting counsel and help from men and women that can help you (doctor's and
nurses, family, friends, etc..) but if man gives you counsel that is not good
take your concerns before the Lord and see what God told you in His Word, then
you will know what to believe and what to do. Psalm 138:8 comforts your minds
with this promise - The Lord will perfect that which concerns me. Thy mercy, O
Lord, endureth forever;.... If you exalt man's word over God's Word you open
yourself up to fear, worry and doubt. Remember 1 John 4:18 tells us - There is
no fear in love, but perfect Love (God's never failing Love) casts out fear (or
concerns, worries, doubts and over comes the circumstances of the evil one), fear has
torment (mental anguish), he (or she) that fears is not made perfect in God's love. In
other words the fearful heart needs to develop themselves in the Love of God
which never fails. This love is the Love of God that keeps the Word of God ever
present in their heart and this walk of love is always conscious of the Promises
of God in their mind and consistently speaks God's Word out of their mouth. Doing
that my friend produces The Victory, because doing those things activates of Faith
of God. Remember 1 John 5:4 declares - Whatever is born of God overcometh the
world; and this is The Victory that overcometh the world, even our Faith. The Lord
said we are world overcomers, not just once but twice in one verse. The Lord is
emphasizing the immutable fact that we, the Christian, the Child of God, the Child
of The King, the Born-Again One, the endued with His Power (His Spirit) Believer is
a world overcomer. Not a world worrier, not a circumstance concerner, but nay in
all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.-Romans 8:37 That
puts us right back to the main point of the Love of God, which is a never ending circle
of the eternal grace of God. Simply put - GOD LOVES YOU! Dear friend, you know that God
Loves you, therefore, you can rest assured that the love He has for the baby is just as
great. The problem of seeing God's best performed in our lives is not a problem with
God's Love for us, but rather a problem with knowing God well enough to believe that what
He said - He will do. Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but
was strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully persuaded that, what He had
promised, He was able also to perform.-Romans 4:20,21 Why was Abraham able to do
this? The primary reason why Abraham was able to do this is because Abraham spent time
with God. When we spend time with God we develop our spirit, for God is a Spirit. This
development of our spirit refreshes us and enlightens our understanding to receive not
only the revelation of God's Great Love for us but also how we can show our love for God
by faith. We show our love for God by believing (spirit), speaking (soul) and obeying
His word (body). John 14:21,23 clearly shows us this - He that hath my commandments, and
keeps them (keeps them in their heart and mind and obeys them), he it is that loves
me; and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will
manifest myself to him. The manifestation of Jesus is the manifestation of The Living
Word of God. When you have the written word as a now present reality in your life, you
have the manifestation of victory alive and showing fruit in you and around you. The
Lord tells us this in the next verses - Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is
it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered, and
said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words; and my Father will love him, and
we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
God's Word will be made manifested in
your life through love by faith, but you have got to know the word to grow-up in Christ
Jesus. 1 John 2:5 is another witness to this truth - But whosoever keeps His Word (The
Word of God), in him (or her, in you believer) verily (truly) is the love of God
perfected; by this know we that we are in Him. I know I am taking my time getting this
truth over to you, but this truth will keep you in a continuous victory (The Victory)
because Love never fails. People commonly make the mistake of putting God far off in
the future, or way behind in the past and wonder why God doesn't answer their current
prayers. Well, I will tell you why He doesn't answer some prayers is because He is
not obligated to. Read this slowly my friend, God only answers prayers that are in
agreement with His Word and come from a heart of love spoken by faith! Once you pray
you believe you receive - then give God thanks that He has already answered your
request. Once you pray His Word (Jesus Christ) from a Heart of Love (The Holy Spirit) you
have received by faith. If you could see it in the natural that second, you wouldn't need
faith. Remember faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not
seen according to Hebrews 11:1. Once you have the Word manifested in the natural you move out of the arena of the
spiritual faith and over into the arena of the natural possession. For God is a Spirit and God's Words are
spirit and life! To get God's spiritual word into the natural we use faith. The faith of
God which calleth those things which be not in the natural as though they are in the
natural, according to that which was spoken (now written in His Word) by
God.-Romans 4:17,18 For we walk by faith not by sight.-2 Corinthians 5:7 This is why we
as believers can praise God and thank Him for The Victory no matter what the circumstances
look like in the natural. God's word will change the circumstances but the circumstance
can never change God's immutable word. This is why all things are possible to him that
believes! For if you (the believer) are willing and obedient you shall eat the good (not
evil) of the land.-Isaiah 1:19
God's Love will build-up your faith, hope and a firm believing that God is able and willing to do that which He Promised in His Word. This kind of peace and revelation and confidence comes from spending time in His Presence (His Spirit) and His Word (The Holy Bible) with practicing the Love of God (The Father) everywhere you go. Be ye doers of the Word not hearers (readers) only.-James 1:22
