The FOG
Scripture Reading - Psalms 5:11-12 KJV
11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
“The FOG” is the acronym for the Favor Of God. “The FOG” is a blessing from the Lord that accompanies His beloved children that do His Will. You notice that we did not say that “the FOG” surrounds all the Children of God because that by itself is not true. No, rather “the FOG” is for those Children of God who act like God. “The FOG” is a residue of the Holy Spirit so it only makes sense that all those who are filled with God’s Spirit will emanate this favor. I remember one time when we (ihlcc) were praying for favor and the Lord said to us, “If you will keep your Joy My Favor will surround you”. Now that we read the above scripture we see that the Lord was just reminding us of His Word that He already spoke to us (and all Believers). So we believe for “the FOG” and we purpose to be consistently joyful and pleasant around others. Many times we need favor on our jobs to help us with co-workers and bosses. Yes, sometimes we need favor with people we don’t even know, like when we are applying for a new job or new position within your present company. Favor also helps us to accomplish God’s Will when opposition tries to hinder or stop (shutdown) the good works of God that we are producing. We notice Daniel had favor with all the kings over him during his lifetime. Likewise Ester had favor with the king over her even to the place of him asking her to be his queen. Yes, “the FOG” is definitely a blessing to the Body of Christ we (ihlcc) cannot think of one single negative thing about “the FOG” in all situations of your life. As a matter of fact someone once stated, “When you can’t sense the Presence of the FOG it might be time to move into a place where you can sense it”. When we (ihlcc) make the statement sense “it” we are really saying sense Him, the awesome Presence of God. Yes, the Lord God is all about blessing His Beloved Children and His Divine Favor seems almost automatic when we are in unison with His Will. “The FOG” is a tangible force of God that compels others that we associate with to want to do us good with corresponding actions of good deeds done unto us. This may be realized on small levels like giving us good mention before others all the way up to large measures like having people promote us to be kings (or Queens) over people (or here in American the President of the United States). Whatever way favor works, in a large measure or a small deed it is definitely a bona fide (genuine, real, pure) blessing to the receiver. What person out there has so much good done unto them that they can’t take it. Some people in the world may refer to this type of blessing as luck but the children of God shouldn’t believe in luck because we believe in “the FOG”. So we (ihlcc) encourage all the children of God who love God and obey His Word to walk in this cloud of “FOG” while you are on the earth and experience the fullness of this blessing when you arrive in Heaven where the blessings of God will still over take you simply because God loves you both now and forever.
