Scripture Reading - Psalm 34:1-3

1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. KJV

The Palmist David encourages us in Psalm 34 to bless the Lord at all times. We do this with the praises of God in our mouth all day consistently, everyday of our lives. I know that requires a devoted conscious effort but the word states we can do it. Notice David also speaks of the soul, that simply means that we must think about the Lord’s Goodness. When we keep our mind on His goodness the overflow will naturally come out of our mouths, then we are ready for the third step which is encouraging others to praise God with us, as mentioned in verse 3.

Therefore as Christians it is our assignment to keep our Praise Tank on full, because then and only then will we have extra to give to the people we encounter in world and other fellow saints. The fruit of the Spirit is Joy and praising our Lord Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father is a great way to express our joy of salvation. Amen!
