PROPHECY

Scripture Reading - 1 Corinthians 14:1-3

1 Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. 2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. 3 But he who prophesies speaks edification (strengthening) and exhortation (encouragement) and comfort to men. NKJV

Beloved Children of God we know that people coming into your life need to experience God's Love. Yes we also know that people coming through the doors of our life need prophecy. The Word of God spoken under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit (The Spirit of God) is prophecy. The biblical prerequisted for knowing what to say to a person at the right time is speaking in tongues on a regular basis, then you will know exactly what scripture will do all three things (the scripture we just read said edification (strengthen) and exhortation (encouragement) and comfort, it did not say "or". Many times we want to help people, well these verses instruct us to seek their help from the Lord. When we desire to truly help people by God's Love our Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ will inspire us to speak His Word to them and over their situation. Thus, pointing them to our Lord and Father so that He can complete their instructions and His Great deliverance on their behalf, then they will glorify God for their deliverance. Just remember keep it simple and keep it according to God’s Word and keep it in God's Spirit of Love. Prophecy only points, or we could say starts the fire but the Lord and the person must complete the task, or we could say keep the fire burning in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen! God is always willing to do His part, hopefully you, my faith friend, are willing and obedient to do yours.
