PRIDE

Generally speaking pride is of various degrees. Pride in a fully developed form is confident that it does not need God, thus the antichrist, and including all those who hate God. Whereas pride in it lesser form only thinks that it can handle certain things without God. No pride is the person like Jesus Christ who can sustain total dependency upon God’s Heart of Love and complete obedience to God Word without reservation. Since we all know that only one man, Jesus Christ, was able to accomplish this task it is a fact that pride is present in every person upon the earth. Pride is present when people are born and it is still present when they died. Hopefully, the older and wiser we become the lesser the influence pride will have upon our souls. Since it has it roots self-preservation and will, it is very hard to remove, and we do say impossible without God. The only way one can even detect their own level of pride is through the Grace of God’s mercy. The Word of God helps us to see the poisonous wretched faces of pride in all areas of this world. Since pride originated in the spiritual realm it is impossible to kill it upon the earth. Our only hope is to resist its influences for us to do things that are contrary to God. Pride is all evil, there is no good side to it death and destruction await all those who delight in it. We only hope to avoid its traps of darkness through the knowledge of God’s Word bringing us His Light to see the enticing snares of the enemy very clearly. We pray dear friend of God that you will comprehend this truth, that although pride can not be destroyed while we have a natural flesh upon this earth, it most certainly can be overcome by the wisdom of God’s Word through the help of His Holy Spirit. Pride is never to be feared it is always most certainly to be kept under the foot of God’s humility manifested inside of each person who is commitment to be like God. Let us study this topic together for the Glory of God as we learn some faces of pride to recognize it when it is present in our lives.
